This should be an interesting experiment.

Sometimes I succeed...... sometimes I fail miserably. That's what makes cooking fun for me.

The cantaloupe finally got that fruity ripe smell, it's been sitting on the counter for days.

The other half of what I made a couple nights ago.

I'm glad I have something that I don't have to cook in the 'frig. Tonight I am working on planting garden seeds, tubers, bulbs, etc.

Try a little curry powder in your lentil soup. Wakes it right up.

one pan. On top, two over easy eggs fried in garlic butter. On edit: tobacco chipotle sauce drizzled on top goes well with the garlic.

For dessert, some cashews and curry powder and green tea.

I bought some Temple of Heven special gunpowder green tea, and I really like it. I like it much better than the Sen Cha I usually buy.

I made a big pan of haluski - fried shredded cabbage and bowtie pasta with browned butter and onions. I don't make it often so I really enjoyed it.

with coconut oil, lightly salted. Sierra Nevada straight outta the bottle. Had a very large lunch, and a long day at work. Didn't feel like anything else.
