(14,733 posts)Class tonight, so the housemate and I will be eating at different times. She just got new carpeting in her bedroom, so I'm out of cash, since I gave the guys who installed it this morning what I had in my wallet as a tip, since they were fast and look to have done a good job.
I think tonight we finally start practicing various sorts of blood draws on each other.

(146,218 posts)We are leaving for a road trip tomorrow and I want to spray the fridge down and leave it open, so everything must go.
I made some turkey/cheese wraps and am pushing all the various open juices.
Condiments will go to friends and neighbors.

(29,098 posts)Just a simple baked salmon with a light orange juice glaze
and
mashed potatoes with leek, garlic and sauteed kale.....
I also made a batch of orange, cardamom, pistachio cookies. Dough is resting in logs in the fridge so I may bake up a few tonight.

(23,156 posts)I live alone, so I try to fix things that are one off meals or will easily freeze for future meals.
Recently I did enough cooking and freezing that last week and this week I've had to buy almost no groceries. Nice.

4. Bake at 350o 20-40 minutes until internal temperature is 160o. Baste occasionally with juices.
I used 4 pears and 1/3 cup molasses, as I had a relatively small roast. Served with corn. DH raved and wants it again.
