It's hot.
And therefore, easy-to-make things, like chicken salad and also cucumber soup.

May have a cold plate meal. Sliced chicken breast w/dijon, sliced tomato w/romaine & dressing, potato salad, flat bread.

None of the local grocery store have whole chickens on sale this week. But I am sooo jonesing for a 1/2 chicken. I always cook on my days off (today), but my cravings do not match the store circulars.
Oy.
So, screw cooking today. I'm off to El Pollo Loco for a 1/2 chicken meal with rice and beans for dinner.
