wow wife made me a smoothie

at boy was it good.
she has been making it for herself
for a week now, so today she made it
for me. spinach, almonds, almond milk, honey, blueberries, bananas
it looked awful dark and thick like someone forgot to do
an oil change! but it was very tasty.
had it about 1100 and I think it is a nice lunch.

I haven't done smoothies, but frankly, it sounds like a great way to get your pyramid nutrition 5 servings.

about a cup of raw spinach (not very much, when you think about it…

I am suddenly away form soy unless it's vanilla in my coffee, so I think this should also work with unsweetened almond milk (especially with the roasted almonds!)

Thanks!

not getting your tagline....maybe because I'm very tired, I just returned the middle of the night from Costa Rica where they speak Spanish at which I truly suck, and will be flying out to Germany in 5 days where they also speak a foreign tongue but it's one I'm fluent in...

I make zucchini crust for pizza about once a week. There is a lot of zucchini juice as a byproduct of squeezing the zucchinis so they are dry for the crust.

I thought people might like to know about this since we have many zucchinis at this time of the year.

Drink the zucchini juice plain and it's very good, but I've been making up combos. Today's:

zucchini juice
sprig of mint, chiffonade
1/2 small cup of vanilla yogurt
spinach leaves
slice of pineapple

Delicious!

People with a sweet tooth might want to add some sweetener, but I was making it as a substitute for lunch.
