The potatoes out of a box, but tasting ok once cooked. I don't know why it is, but I notice I never see any form of boxed (ie dehydrated) potatoes with the GMO-free label. Makes me wonder if all of the standard potatoes used for such are some form of GM.

After two days of cutting, our 60 ft maple is down to just 20 feet or so of main trunk. We've got an enormous stack of firewood for our butcher's daughter and her hubby to come pick up (probably 3-4 pickup truck's worth), and a similar amount of wood for ourselves, albeit in smaller thicknesses we kept for our chimenia fires, and another neighbour down the block came and picked up a smaller stack for his firepit. I'm hoping the guy can finish up tomorrow, and I imagine he is too, although he'll still be around the neighbourhood for a whole, he's gotten 2 or 3 more jobs from neighbours who saw him working on my tree.

Tonight it was grilled turkey salad and cheese sandwiches.

The turkey salad came out great! Chopped up white meat extra fine, chopped up a half of red onion extra fine, chopped up a sweet apple fairly chunkily. Mixed it all together with mayo and tarragon vinegar to a moist consistency. Grilled it up with a nice sharp white cheddar on wheat. Yum, yum, yum!
