I finally broke down and ordered a commercial blender

I've been wanting to get a commercial grade Vitamix or a Blendtec, but I'm notoriously cheap and didn't really want to spend $400 to $1000 to get one. So when I ran across this one for $169, I had to spring for it.

From what I can tell from the reviews on this seller, the blender I'll get came out of some national chain commercial operation and it will almost certainly be beat to crap. That's OK with me because I have a couple of other commercial appliances in my kitchen that will match it. As long as it works well, that's all I care about. I've been wanting to get into making green smoothies and green ice cream, so this should do the trick. If anyone else wants to jump on one of these, you may want to wait until I get mine and can post some pictures and a review.

I think you will be fine. Personally I would recommend the Vita Mix only because it is what I have, know and love. I'm a value shopper too so I understand the pain of forking over the money for a product like a blender....especially when things might be tight.

I hope your new machine brings great joy and delightful concoctions!

Try a spinach, ginger and apple smoothie....My favorite breakfast especially when I add a little hemp protein powder

Blendtec hasn't been around as long, but they seem to be solid. I know people with each and both are happy. I like this particular commercial model because it has the noise shield.

which is good because it is loud. I warn everyone before I turn mine on. Love it, BTW. Make smoothies constantly, def got my money's worth, even though I paid a bit more than you.
