Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? Does Anybody Really Care?

Does anyone else here not care what time of day it is when deciding what they want to eat? For me it doesn't ever really matter. I tend to eat whatever I want or have a taste for whenever, without regard to time of day, whether it's cold dinner leftovers for breakfast, or pancakes and eggs for dinner.

Anyone else not structure their particular meals around a specific time of day?

usually between noon and 3pm, but some days we don't cook at all. Mrs. Pscot requires meat and potatoes. I'll eat Alpo and corn chips if it has enough chili-garlic sauce in it. Lately I've been making up batches of hummus and eating it with wasa brot.

Late breakfast at 10ish, dinner early. Since I'm the one who is eating, should anyone else care about the time or whether I have scrambled eggs for dinner or a ham sandwich for late AM. It's my food, whenever I eat. Two meals a day does it for me. Non-schedule..whenever I feel like it!
I have had people call me at 5ish and when I mention I'm having dinner, they almost always say--'So early?'? Well, since I don't really structure my meals by the clock, it works for me.

Breakfast for dinner is commonplace in our home.

This morning, I made ham, egg and cheese burritos for my son.
I fried an extra egg, which I ate atop last nights leftover chiliquiles.

My bride won't eat leftovers, but will eat 'planovers' when I make a major crockpot meal.
This leaves me to tear into all sorts of oddball stuff for breakfast.

a late light lunch and then a snack for dinner. In my ideal world.

What I do is eat leftovers for breakfast and a late light lunch. But I still make dinner for my peeps so I eat a small portion of whatever that is. I will make breakfast for dinner every once in a while and everyone loves it.

a breakfast in the morning, a lunch in the middle of the day, and a supper in the evening. Although I try very hard to eat only two meals, because any more and I really start packing on the pounds. One of my goals in life is to live free of clock time, and I'm still a long way from that.

My favorite breakfast is often leftover Chinese food.

cold outta the fridge is one of my favorite breakfasts. I wish I could have it more often.

I know what you're saying about living free of clock time. Where meals are concerned, I can definitely get away with that on my own, skipping dinner for a light snack. But since the husband seems to want insist on dinner, I end up eating it most nights, too. Same with breakfast. Even though I love breakfast foods, I can usually go close to very late morning without.
