Kale salad with cranberries, feta, and toasted almonds.

1. Howdy!

I've been out of commission for over a week, but back to the real world and hungry!

Tonight we are having a corn chowder and grilled cheese sandwiches - comfort food for sure.

Your burgers sound fabulous and I may do that tomorrow.

2. Probably Frozen Pizza...

My daughter is getting married so she dragged me around all day looking at venues. OY....I begged her to elope or at least keep it tiny....maybe in a fun place.....Hard to believe she came from me because we are sooooo opposite on this. I am doing a good job in not sucking her joy...but I'm really not that invested in the colors of your table covers or the mind numbing never ending web of Pinterest.... At least there are menus to peruse and evaluate....LOL I am such a back of the house kind of person!

3. My daughter just got married - 14 guests.

Pretty perfect, imo.

I hope your daughter has girlfriends that share her enthusiasm!

4. chinese take out.... had chicken egg foo young and the wife had general tso chicken.

later wife cooked up a lb and half of lima beans with bacon for
Sunday and I had to try em and make sure they were good (they were yummy)

5. More chicken tacos. Roasted cauliflower with cumin. Tomato/avocado salad.

The ranch style beans I was making to go with the above items were not fully cooked, so we'll eat those later. They are finally done now.
