(2,012 posts)I think you'll be walking around in the snow today in the ski towns. I-70 closed for snow, ice, and accidents. Cold and raining at 6000 so we'll be having chili, salad and hot cocoa. And keeping our eyes on Boulder Creek and the Poudre.

(146,218 posts)Boat was pulled from the water today. It was quite the production. We are here for 2 nights more, then off in different directions for awhile.
So two more nights of the Mexican food that I have so grown to love. Sad to leave friends and the anthropomorphized boat that is my home, but excited about changing things up for awhile.

(35,628 posts)well, I know how hot it can be on the boat because you posted about it last year, so even though it is sad to leave your friends/house for awhile, it will be the best and most comfortable away to enjoy the months ahead. Also, I recall how much you enjoyed the house in Italy--with your fresh basil growing outside.
Oh, and I will tell the RG about your planned Italian food indulgences! That post made me laugh. He is coming back from ?? (I forgot) tomorrow, and we are headed to the restaurant that overlooks Manhattan from the mountain.
I am making chicken meatballs for tonight, though, but not until after dark, as I am headed to my garden until it gets dark. Not sure what I'll do for a side dish. Earlier, though, I made crudite and had two types of dip to go with it, bacon horseradish and French onion.

(146,218 posts)I'm in an air conditioned room right now and if there is a heaven, it is most likely just like this, lol.
Please share my travels with the RG. If he has any specific recommendations, I'd love to have them, though I'm in love with the little local places where the cook also takes your order and serves your meal.
Yum on the meatballs! Enjoy your night out tomorrow
