I don't if I'll get to keep her. That decision is up to my brother, TexasTowelie May 2015 #10

It's what my brother brought home. Meanwhile, I brought home a wayward Siamese kitten with beautiful markings and blue eyes--and no, I don't intend to turn it into supper!

I'm also dealing with the hard drive on my PC crashing so I'm on my brother's laptop instead. It took me most of yesterday to add bookmarks to Firefox to hit my usual list of sources for my posts on DU.

I did give the kitten a rinse under the sink to try and wash off some of the fleas. I guess that the kitten is about four weeks old since it was able to eat some small soft cat chow which means that it was weaned. I can't really tell the sex yet since it is too early. The cat is sleeping right now.

but at least she did not have to stay out in the rain, got fed, had a couple of baths to wash off fleas and pooped all over the bed linens. This morning she snuggled up to me.

The kitten is ready to bond to a human and I rolled her on the stomach and she started playing the clawing games. She has weaned and can eat semi-solid food. She is finally asleep (those baths can wear out a kitten). Unfortunately, I'm not in the best circumstances (mental health or financially) and my brother didn't let me keep my calico which would be a lot easier to deal with. If I can ever get my situation resolved, then I'll be able to get my calico who I miss greatly back.
