I don't see it on the web site.

Here 3,000 miles west, there is an everbearing strawberry that is excellent. The varietal name is "Seascape". I made too much freezer jam last year, and still have eight pints. LOL.

I drive around Maryland during our season, in JUNE, hoping to find good ones, and am delighted to see these are available at one of our grocery stores NOW in March, tho not ALL the grocery stores here have them. Most have been overtaken by the tasteless driscoll brand.

I agree that they're really lousy. Unfortunately, that's what the big growers in Mexico have planted, also, so it's either California cardboard or Mexican cardboard.

I used to find wild strawberries now and then back east and they were amazing--tiny berries, a little hard, and packed with flavor.

but really who cares? They're worthless, imo. Would be a good thing if the big growers learned that we the people are not interested in such produce.

JUST discovered that the Astin's are now in 'my' local (regional chain) grocery, that's had virtually only driscoll for years. Will commend the store manager, when I see her.
