I'm thinking maybe a salad, antipasto style with marinated veggies from jars, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and maybe some genoa salami and sharp provolone. An anchovy-based vinaigrette. Garlic croutons perhaps.
You?

(17,434 posts)It has got to be leftovers, I'm worn out.
Leftover mixed salad, made into a chef's salad with egg, smoked turkey, some cheese and whatever else I discover. I'm hoping there is also some left over navy bean soup, if not then there is some left over chili for sure. I'll make some Garlic toast too. I am also craving a mug of black tea, Earl Grey will be good.
Not sure what there is for an after dinner sweet.

(35,658 posts)When I got home from meetings today, Windows had again messed up my computer so bad that I couldn't get on the internet. They do this with their "automatic updates." After hours of work and finally getting back on, I then found out they messed up my settings. I have a touch screen, and what I saw on my browser were flashing white bubbles on the upper left of the screen. This prevented me from navigating the screen, no matter what browser I used.
Finally got it straightened out, but suffice to say, if you have Windows and you're set for automatic updates, change it. In this case, Windows, during an update, wipes out your settings.
Wait for a few weeks until they get the bugs out, and then get your updates. Don't be the fool who beta tests for them and their updates, like I was.
OK, now for dinner. I had vegetable stir fry (baby bok choy, red pepper, carrots in ginger-garlic-sesame oil). I also sliced some chicken off a roast and had it with teriyaki sauce.
I'm definitely having dessert tonight after that Microsoft experience.
CHOCOLATE.
