What's for Dinner, President's Day, Mon., Feb. 20, 2017

I slow-cooked chicken sausages using a bottle of Guinness as the cooking liquid. You would not believe how good they are! Then I made onion marmalade (slow-cooked onions with a little agave and turmeric for the gold color. ). These go over the sausages.

However, I doubt this is what will be for dinner, as the RG is returning from some big pasta summit in South America. Even though he's traveled all day, he will insist on his own creation. No normal person would travel from Argentina and then want to cook dinner. What can I say!?!

Seasoned with fresh rosemary and thyme. I haven't decided between mashed or baked potato but I'm leaning towards mashed because I do make some amazing gravy. I'm thinking broccoli for the veg.

That onion marmalade sounds very tasty! I am going to try and concoct some, later this week.

I stole this from Blue Apron. Had to go to the store and buy the pork. I had everything else on hand.
