What's for Dinner, Wed., May 24, 2017

It will be standard buffet food for me tonight, since we are having a meeting of the community garden where I also am the coordinator. If it's like last time, I'll have half a tuna sammich, half a turkey sam', some lettuce salad, and maybe a little macaroni or coleslaw. And like last time, there will be peanut butter and also chocolate chip cookies. So even though I shouldn't have one, I know I will.

and cold tea. The extra firm tofu is wrapped in paper towels under a big can to squeeze out as much liquid as possible. I'll dredge tofu cubes in a small bit of flour, heat in a very hot frying pan to get a char then I'll mix it with stir fried garlic, onions, broccoli, shredded carrots and mix hosin-soy saice over everything. Rice is bubbling in the ricepot. First time for this recipe.🙏

Started with a vegetarian recipe, but then I added sliced kielbasa. Tweaked the recipe to include chipotles and cilantro. Came out quite yummy! Garnished with lime wedge to cut the kielbasa fat a bit.
