It's true that they aren't anywhere near as good when they are reheated.

However... they start out so incredibly above other baked goods that even that significant decline in quality leaves them pretty yummy.

Of course... this is entirely theoretical... since I can't imagine a case where any popovers would be left behind.

Haven't made popovers since the 1970's or 80''s when my kids were young. How they loved it when I made them for Sunday breakfast. You are right, they are so theatrical, that is why the kids liked them so much. And you are also right, there would never be any leftover.

I may have to make some, just for old times sake.
