What's for Dinner, Tues., Nov. 7, 2017

It was a dark and stormy night. Yes, cold rain falling, so tonight's comfort food meal of apricot-glazed pork chops, cubed butternut squash with...well, butter, potatoes (again, cubed) with gravy, and baby arugula salad with cherry tomatoes.

Hot apple pie (small slice) with a little ice cream for dessert.

1. Google Doodle got me..

Phad Thai, steamed dumplings, pork egg roll, Their tea. (also I think this will be bfast leftovers).

Cher, do you use an apricot jelly or dried apricots & a liquid reduction to make the glaze?

Apple, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Chops and Steamed French Green Beans.

3. Leftovers

Also cold and wet here.

So far I've had stewed apples and garlicky lentils. There is a lot more in the refrigerator, but I am in no hurry. Pigs in blankets with baked beans, taco fillings, pizza, watermelon, and so on.

I'll be checking the Virginia election results and eating more later.

5. I almost made pork chops tonight as well but decided to save them for

tomorrow. We had stuffed pepper skillet.
