What's for Dinner, Thurs., Nov. 9, 2017

Chicken francese.

White asparagus. I’m thinking with orange sauce.

Tossed salad. I am putting chopped cauliflower into my tossed salads for extra crunch. Really good!

Dessert: Chocolate chip cookie, warmed up in the oven.

I do think I can eat right now. How does that sound for dinner?

The smallest head available goes a long way. Don't get me started with things I add to my salads. I always start out with a reasonable size bowl for a couple of portions but end up grabbing the biggest bowl in the house to try to be able to toss my creation to mix it up properly. Most times I could just skip the lettuce all together and not even notice.

Enjoy your dinner! I had a late and huge lunch so not much cooking in my house. Maybe just some garbanzo beans and black olives for me or just skip to almond bark with coffee and call it a day.

Braised cauliflower with rice and a cucumber salad.

Rum Raisin ice cream for dessert followed by a brandy in front of the fire.

Bon apetite, NJCher!

and a side of home made cole slaw. Fresh blueberries for dessert. I get lobster and crab for $3.99 a pound at my local Asian market if they are almost dead (I am on a budget and they know me there).
