Appetizer: sushi, both salmon and shrimp.

Tossed salad made of spinach, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

Entree: stir fry vegetables with shrimp.

1. Sloppy Joes, carrot & celery sticks, potato chips

And milk. I almost recreated middle school lunch at St Kevins.

4. That is what we had for school lunch too...did you have Pizza, salad,two hard boiled egg halves

and peanut butter cookies on Pizza day?

5. Polish Catholic school....I don't remember pizza in school till H.S.

Kielbasa, cabbage were frequent. Fried Perch& fries on Fridays. I think some of the mothers worked off the kids tuition $ by cooking. Oatmeal & Peanut Butter cookies...
My dad liked a take& bake pizza place down the road, rectangular pan on Saturday Nights.

9. There are some oddly named Schools...my daughter went to St. Gregory the Great in Danbury

Connecticut. Wonderful school.

6. And yeah, St Kevins was a weird name choice for such a large population of 2&3 generation citizens.

2. Pork chops...

over a bed of onions and mushrooms, smothered in the most amazing sauerkraut from Trader Joe's (it has pickles and garlic in it). Smashed potatoes on the side

3. Yum! I had salad with olives tomatoes spinach baby lettuce eggs bacon and other stuff...

Roasted salmon on top. I made homemade Ranch dressing with buttermilk...and we had Sushi as an appetizer too...my grocery store had the sushi guy there today..really good. For dessert I have peanut butter cups (no gluten ) or gluten free cookies. And a glass of Riesling...I found a new wine Mount St. Michel Riesling...very reasonable but good...better than the expensive wine I bought recently.
