7. we were trying to go dessert-free

But it didn't work. After our meal, we all sat around looking at each other thinking the same thing.

So one of us got in the car and drove to the closest store: came back with ginger cookies and coffee Haagen Daz. We made ice cream sandwiches with them, and were they ever good! Ginger and coffee flavors are a good pair.

With lots of bok choy celery garlic and fresh, in season! Asparagus.
Serving with tabbouleh instead of rice.
The tabbouleh will be great cold tomorrow with cucumbers and onion added, then heaped on salad.

Brownie bites for dessert.
