What's for Dinner, Tues., May 22, 2018

Soup sounds good, as we had a long thunderstorm in NJ from mid- to late afternoon. Pasta fagioli is already made and all I have to do is heat it up.

Baby arugula is also washed and ready, so that will accompany it.

Dessert will be tea--hot vanilla chai and a no-sugar pecan turtle with dark chocolate.

I really like coconut milk based ones best. I am using a commercial green curry paste. Veggies are onions, peppers & I am putting this over zuke noodles to cut back on carbs. Huge glass of decaf cold tea.

Hearty Ham and Bean Soup with lots of vegetables.
Salad of spinach, tomato and bell pepper
Garlic toast
Decaf green tea and cookies for dessert and perhaps a small orange.

FLFC (four legged food critic) has given my beef and sweet potato dish made for him just one star. It's too hard for him to eat it in his cone. He is lobbying for something better - I guess I'll get him some of the leftover baked chicken.

Went out to lunch with the Liberal Ladies and am still not hungry.

Bananas are wonderful, and have no Weight Watcher points.
