What's for Dinner, Sat., Dec. 8, 2018

Last edited Sat Dec 8, 2018, 09:07 PM - Edit history (1)

The RG made meatloaf and we're having sandwiches using baguettes. It has tomato sauce on top. Trimmings are tomato, onion, slices of something green--can't tell what (on edit: it was a slice of Poblano)--and a little lettuce. He made some type of flavored mayonnaise for the sandwiches, too.

Side dishes are shredded Brussels sprouts and egg salad.

Malbec 2013 Mendoza.

For dessert, I'm letting everyone try the spice cookies with whipped cream.

Hello and sorry I've been away from the forum. Too much work and family and politics.

The Landlady(!) just finished a performance as The Maid in the ballet The Nutcracker. I have to feed her.

Caesar salad with anchovy filets.

Fresh raviolis with home-made tomato sauce flavored with basil and garlic.

Cannolis.

Chianti before, during and after.
