The Landlady(!) said she has a surprise planned. Her niece’s husband is coming into town tonight for few days so I’m sure she’s going to show off.

In the castiron pan. Had some fresh rosemary and finished with that and butter. I deglazed the pan with a bit of water and made a little jus -so good. Have horseradish cream sauce on the side.
Homemade hummus with garlic and rosemary and some rosemary bread tstd for dipping in the hummus. It is real good!

peppers, onions, zucchini, broccoli and carrots.

All over brown rice.

I used to think that shrimp was too much of a luxury, but now I buy a $6.50 bag of frozen shrimp (one pound) and use it for 2 meals, and usually each of those meals yields enough for one lunch. So we get 6 servings out of one bag.
