(7,888 posts)It's in the 60's in Phoenix, so 79 could not be the outside temp.

Can I say I'm jealous of your 10 degrees? I love it cold. I PAY to be cold (cryotherapy). I need to live some place cold!

(1,533 posts)No wind at the minute. I do have to go out and shovel some. I did 6+ driveways and was very nice to the kid across the street who left his car on the street. If I didn't do what I did, his car would have been stuck behind an 18" wall of rock hard ice. Took me about 10 minutes to clear it with the snowblower right after the plow went through - he probably won't even realize. They are immigrants from Nepal, been here about 6 years or so, but I don't think we've had a snow like this last burst since he has been driving.
I'm procrastinating since it's so cold and I have about 10 more minutes before coffee and something to eat. Supposed to wait after the first pill of the day to eat.
Yesterday, I had some homemade chicken soup from the woman across the street for helping with their driveway. It was the perfect meal for the day. Even homemade noodles. I think Coneys for lunch. Chili with no beans, onions and mustard... Next best cold weather lunch to Grilled cheese, tomato soup and a dill pickle.

(16,334 posts)I'm already dreading the days when I don't want to turn the oven on because it's so hot. We're getting a cool break this weekend but I know what's coming.
