As I walked in the door from work, I see pork cutlets being dipped in egg and rosemary. So breaded cutlets, I assume.
A very unusual salad: shredded Savoy cabbage mixed with grated carrot and scallions. Cornichons. The dressing is creamy. There are bright red slices of what I thought was beet but it's not dark enough. It's bright red and the RG tells me it's a mushroom. Whoever heard of a bright red mushroom?
Oh, and potatoes. Little Yukon golds. I think they're going to be mashed.

(15,088 posts)I made dinner just for myself tonight, so I cubed a potato and tossed it into the wok to brown. Then I added a chopped onion and a chopped sweet red pepper. When it was all nicely browned, I sliced a sausageNiman Ranch, the good stuffand tossed that in to heat through. One pan, one bowl, and it was tasty.
