I stopped at a store on my way home from an appointment and bought Beyond burgers! I brought them home and insisted the RG fix them for dinner tonight. He had also gone to the store and purchased shiitake mushrooms, so he made a sauce using the mushrooms. This creamy mushroom sauce is on the bottom of the plate with the BB in the middle. Sliced, lightly sauteed shiitakes are over the burger, as well as sliced mango.

We had an appetizer of cream crackers. On top of the crackers were a variety of toppings--sheep's milk cheese with walnuts, and some topped with spicy olives. There were also slices of parmesan. In the middle of the appetizer plate was guacamole covered with cilantro.

I got a promo code from Uber for taking 15 rides- no delivery charge on 2 orders from Uber Eats. I'd never used Uber Eats before and was a little nervous about ordering fries. But they arrived hot!

It was delicious and I am stuffed. Still have 1/2 the burger and a ton of fries left.

The delivery charge would have been $7.99(!!!), so I don't think I'll be using the service without a promo code/free delivery reward.
