What's for Dinner, Fri., May 24, 2019

Pasta; sauce made with ceci beans and roasted vegetables, pureed, then with roasted eggplant.

There are other items but I just walked in the door and failed to comprehend it all. May be back later to fill in the blanks.

I had to stay a little late at work today because I found both poison ivy and marijuana growing in the school garden beds. Hmmm.

1. Fried calamari with hot marinara

2. Linguine with white clam sauce

Not only is this a reward for the week, but I'm supporting a local business.

And I got some cold ale.

Doesn't get any better for me.

I can't even think about dessert.

On edit: Mom & Dad had baked salmon, rice pilaf w/ crimini mushrooms, sauteed asparagas, and sliced tomatoes.

I have some sinful, bone in, skin on, chicken breasts in the oven with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a dribble of oil.
Some halved potatoes are roasting with the chicken.
I have some mixed salad greens and will decide on a dressing later.

FLFC has a meat ball made with beef and pork. He has eaten some, but is guarding the rest. He has been laying around all day and rarely eats a lot when he has not been active. I'll see if he wants some of my chicken later. He is now sound asleep next to the plate he is guarding.
