the ham and soy sauce should have enough salt for your weekly intake.

(103,856 posts)4. My Kansas-style fried rice is easy, cheap and makes TONS
1 lb bacon cut into small pieces (cut an almost thawed package)
a whole bunch of sliced green onions
diced celery (as much as you want)
finely shredded carrots ( I like a LOT)
Make a small pot of rice
crisp bacon ..set aside..drain bacon grease (save it for now)
toss in celery, green onions, carrots..saute
dump in rice..stir a bit (add back some bacon grease if it sticks a lot..add back crisped bacon pieces..
Looks like confetti rice... tastes great..
My husbad used to add some soy saice to his serving.. just a dab pf salt/pepper for me
