Here's the Friday morning tradition:

Let the Landlady(!) sleep until 9:00. Then I'll make a healthy version of eggs Benedict for us.

Since Thursday and Friday are our "weekend," we're going to go boating on a nearby lake this afternoon. It'll be a nice day!

Not sure what's after coffee. Most likely oatmeal with walnuts, dried cranberries and ground flaxseed!

I like it because you can either freeze it, if making more than 1, or keep in fridge. I just nuke a slice and I am off.

And are they ever delicious! I put a little agave on top, and added a miniature corn loaf to the plate. And I crisped up a few slices of turkey bacon. This is quite a delicious way to kick off the Labor Day weekend.

PJ, I will think of you two floating on a boat today. Sounds like a such a diversion from the usual. We could actually do that, too, as we have a big lake less than half a mile away and they have boats that look like giant swans that can be rented. If I thought I stood a prayer in hell of getting the RG to go with me, I would do it. He might do it if the boat didn't look like a giant swan. I think he might be too macho for that.

So instead I will be planting the mums I bought yesterday.
