My 89 year old father just served me a lambchop, fried in peanut oil.

Oy.

No, it wasn't like a pork medallion.

It was a fried lambchop.

He's highly functional, a foodie, and usually a gourmet cook.

He generally puts out good food. Last night, he tried on lamb something he saw someone on the Food Channel do with pork and it didn't translate.
