last night was Melissa Clark's Cuban pulled pork, with flour tortillas, black beans, and pico de gallo. Tonight will be southern pulled pork tossed with BBQ sauce on buns with cabbage slaw. That'll be it for the guys, with more pork destined for the freezer.

Although the broth is grapefruit and lime-based, it tastes good on its own and I'm looking forward to subbing it in Smitten Kitchen's broken pasta with pork ragu. The pork and pasta are served in a puddle of broth with a generous handful of arugula on top, which somehow turn pork and pasta into a very nice and light-feeling meal for Florida's summer-style winter. So nice that I feel a bit guilty fobbing the guys off with BBQ, but arugula makes the dish and one once carefully picked all the bits of arugula out of a mixed salad, so that's a no-go.
