(46,083 posts)I inaugurated my cast iron waffle maker. It's circular. I seasoned it. I made the waffle batter.
And it made simply wonderful waffles. (Excuse the alliteration.)

We'll bag them up and make no contact deliveries to family and friends later.
We've been cooking like fools. We could survive for a week on the leftovers.

(31,980 posts)of oatmeal raisin cookies ... all 5 of us were together for dinner yesterday. Minus the dozen cookies I gave to my son who doesnt live here anymore to take home, there were no cookies left. They devoured them after the meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans,rolls, and applesauce.
But sometimes I do get the ambition to bake. Usually its cookies. Occasionally a cake.

Sausage balls probably arent the healthiest thing either.
Theyre a favorite of a friend of mine whos sheltering here, so I just thought wth, Ill make a batch!
