I ran across this one when reading information from beac's post on kick starting the urban vegetable garden. Mother Earth News has great info:

I'm going to use it as a basic plan and tweak it to my yard.

2. Mine is always in my head - and it changes frequently.

It usually depends on what survives and what doesn't (think bunnies). Garden plans are fluid. The nightshade beds are stable, but the rest of it is in the "up for grabs" zone. It's never the same.

I live in the desert and it's hard to keep enough water on containers but this might work

i have a tree and cyclone fence on the west side of the yard, maybe that's the place to try this so the plants have a bit of cover in the hottest part of the day

4. I love to create garden designs

I'm working on an acre garden and it is pretty exciting. I'm planting trees, shrubs, vines, food, medicine I'm going for the big flowering thing look that goes on for the full year (Witch Hazel blooms in January.)

I'm not good at uploading pictures, but I'll try to do some updates after the big spring push (I'm a bit horrified at the number of plants that will be arriving soon!)

5. I'm trying to get all the non-vegetable areas *perfect*

In the hopes that this summer I can focus on the veggies.

I have an idea of what I want, and I think I can make it happen.
