Wondering about successful stabilization of hormone levels, specifically progest. in spayed bitches.

I'm having a hard time finding anything on progesterone, which is basically cut off following spaying, it is also what is responsible for high incidences of hypothyroidism in bitches post spay.
If anyone has had success using creams or supplements please respond if you have the time. I hope I'm not beating a dead horse by posting this here, cause my girls health means absolutely everything to me.

Thanks for your time, she and I will definitely appreciate it!

Now I want to make sure her progesterone isn't imbalanced with her estrogen. I spoke with the vet, and they said try small amounts and watch her behavior.

I put a half dose of progesterone cream on her today, half human dose she is about 60-70lbs, and she seems fine. She fell asleep about an hour later, but there was no drunken affect which is a side effect of progesterone since it upregulate or has strong gabaergic action, and also upregulates or mimics serotonin.

I have a NON gm soy estro supplement for her as well, and a thyroid supplement(everything I use is backed by clinical studies and used outside the United states as a prescription in medical/hospital settings). I'm not fond of the watch and go approach, but I had a rescue before that had hypo and it was distressing for her, and hard on me.
