Need help transporting a kitteh...please!!!!

I fell in love with a petfinder.com kitteh in Iowa and I am in San Diego, Ca-lee-for-nia. Oh how I want this gorgeous boy!!!!! I posted in the Lounge and it was suggested I post here. Can anyone help? advise? it's a 30-35 hour drive from here to there, and I would gladly do it except I have a 7 year old & am a looking for work single parent on a tight budget. Need help! Crossing my fingers to hear from someone who can!!!!!! Hoping for a miracle.

1. There are many volunteer animal transport organizations that help transfer

rescues across country. Here's a list of some of them. I'd try some of these people first. Have you asked the rescue with the kitten for help?
