i want more coffee, there are clean wet sheets that need to go into the dryer, and i'm typing one handed. mojo, mama cat, is propped on my left arm. her son, majikcat is on my ankles atop the lap blanket. could someone please ring the doorbell so they go to answer it....thanks..

(12,503 posts)I think those master-and-overlord fur babies can cause human blood clotting from you remaining motionless for too many hours, because heaven forbid that you dare to move a limb and upset part of their 18 hour sleeping day.
You may want to consider getting a Life-Alert necklace, that way if you have a heart attack or stroke you won't have to inconvenience the furbabies by moving out of the recliner until the EMT's ring your doorbell.

My sister used to have a cat she referred to as her "lap fungus" because that's where she always was, as if she had formed there.

(32,965 posts)mojo is a whole genus of lap fungus to herself. the minute one of us sits down, anywhere in the house, she'll show up. the other 3 are as they feel the need for a human heater. sometimes the others are lying on the heater vents(heater humping) and the living room is cold, mojo will show up faster
