he is spending 2 weeks at a boarding/training place here, called found chicago.
good folks, smart trainers. they also do rescue.

he is gonna come home a perfect dog, i think.
they put up a daily youtube of what they are doing. so far it goes along with my own philosophy and methods. so, they are building on what i have done with him.

helps me get over missing him. also eases my mind about spending 5 days in wisconsin for the election. good timing.

He is VERY handsome. Didn't want to lay down on that hard, cold floor..and I don't blame him a bit. I love how he is very watchful. Seems like he really wants to be good.

It's awesome they post videos so you can see what's going on and can keep up with him while you are traveling. Good luck with your election travels!!

5. he is a victorian bulldogge.

sort of a retro-breed. trying to bring the bully back to the dogs they were before the akc, et al doomed the breed.
they took good, big english bullies, mixed in some american bull, and dog de bordeaux. some folks added other things, and there are others like this- olde english bulls, mollets, couple others.
committed breeders, worried only about producing sound dogs.
he is pretty much the look they want. his uncle and half brother, whom he resembles, have a bunch of ribbons.
i also have his half brother. neither look a thing like dad. both look like mom.
biff is more of a classic english.

super great dogs. not perfect, tho. both headed for hip surgery, which is why, you are right, he is not real keen on the cold floor.

and thank you, we will be taking back wisconsin. just hope i dont end up spending a month up there for a recount.

8. Oh wow! I had never heard of them until a week ago.

I've always wanted a bulldog... Stumbled across the victorian while doing research. I clearly don't know enough yet to recognize them, though! The appear to be an awesome breed. So cool to see a picture of one "in real life".
