Just when you think they can't get any cuter...
... French Bulldogs, gotta love 'em.
We're so glad we kept Leo and LT is so close that these two get to play together everyday. Still miss the rest of the litter tho. All are doing very well.
Monday is neuter day for brothers Leo and LT, so wish 'em well.

(14,524 posts)... through her recovery, I'm hoping this is a little easier. LT actually lives with my S-I-L in our downstairs apartment, so keeping them apart should be pretty doable. But Sadie Mae will be up here with Leo and require much vigilance. Going to have their nostrils opened some at the same time, to help with their breathing. (A common problem with the breed.)

(14,524 posts)The vet hospital called and both of the boys are in recovery and had no problems during surgery. I will be picking them up in about an hour and a half. I can lower the worry level now! Thanks for the good thoughts everyone.

(11,065 posts)They don't have such a big incision as a female would, and generally it's a less traumatic surgery. The hard part will be keeping them calm for the recovery since they probably won't be acting like they had surgery at all. And making them wear the silly Cone of Shame. None of mine last five minutes with the lampshade on.
In the end they'll be much happier and healthier without their "family jewels", and you'll be happier, too.

(14,524 posts).. and neither of them is fussing with the incisions yet. (keeping fingers crossed) LT is doing great, good appetite, and drinking. Leo had more of a reaction to the anesthesia, diarrhea and loss of appetite, but it's been less than 24 hours, so not worrying yet. Leo also had two incisions because one of the testes hadn't fully descended, plus they both had nostril work.
