SickKids Is Helping Pediatric Patients, One Tail Wag At A Time!

Moxie is a therapy dog that works with children in hospitals through the PetSmart Hope For Paws program at SickKids. Studies, and smiles, show that dogs like Moxie can relieve stress and are a great distraction during critical times like these. Just look at Moxie’s sweet face! Wouldn’t she make you feel at ease too?

Follow along as we spend the day with Moxie, a pet therapy dog bringing comfort and support to patients through the PetSmart Paws for Hope Program at SickKids. Dog visits help to calm patients and relieve their stress, and also provides a chance for them to relax and just be kids.
