harvey got a clean bill of health from the vet and is nicely settled in

a little bit of gingivitis, but that's it.

here's how upset he was when we got home from his checkup



the dim one is pretty much over hissing at him and i saw them bump noses this morning, so things are going well on that front. he is a gigantic cat who dwarfs her and i can't wait to get a pic of them side by side. he used the front door to stretch last night and he can nearly touch the doorknob. he weighed in at 13.6 pounds at the vet and they said that was a good weight for him.

he acts as though he's been with us forever and i am so happy that he fits in so well with us. we made a good catch with him.

He's an excellent cat. I'm glad he chose you.

he'll give you a bunny kick or two with one leg as a warning if you do. he may well go full-on venus cat trap if pushed past that point, but i'm not interested in finding out
