Silver the cat brushes his own teeth!

and no, I am not kidding!

It is something he devised on his own too. He dips his paw in the water bowl and takes his wet paw and rubs it all around his teeth, dips the paw again and repeats.

I guess he likes the feel of clean teeth, hell I don't know.

Anyone else have a cat that does this?

At least I don't have to worry about any vet bills for having his teeth cleaned being he does it himself!

The dip paw repeat thing was going on for about 10 mins. one day and he knocked the water bowl over and luckily I had a thing under the bowl to catch and soak up the water.

I've never seen anything like it in my lifetime and I've had cats since I was a kid.

I wish the other two would learn to do this as well as it helps a lot!

I'll try to catch a picture of him doing it. He tends to slip away quickly when a camera appears I've noted!

My cat needs to read it.

Her breath could knock over an elephant and she has made it VERY clear that I will NOT be brushing her teeth for her.

he goes all the way around pick pick pick to remove all of the food caught between the teeth after a thorough wash job.

Thought on this: Last life he was a human with very bad teeth that never brushed nor flossed dare I suggest?
