They are going to be best buds. We have a 12 year old Border Collie and 10 year old Aussie/Sheltie mix (both acquired from the shelter at a year old).

play fighting. Riley is over twice her size now and she is just a ball of fur. I caught him dragging her on the floor by her ear! It's been 14 years since we had a puppy in the house. We lost an ACD in March 2016 and our Shepherd/Doberman this past January. I've forgotten some things.

My wife has been providing daytime puppy care for my daughter's 7 month old border collie since they acquired her.

We were fortunate that my old BC is still a puppy at heart. While he can't keep up with the new pup, he does wear her down some. It is amazing how he changes his roughness level of play based upon the size of the dog (careful when she was an 8 week old, all out play now for example). Our BC does the same with children.

Sorry about losing your other dogs.

If Freyja will sit still for longer than 5 seconds, I'll post more pics LOL.
