The boog has struck again with mother in law

Sitting on back porch having coffee, and I heard wife and mother in law voices raised from kitchen. Then patio door slides open and boog is exiled to the deck with me, he land sharked several sticky buns counter surfing. Hey man I'm on the shit list once again, I cannot help it I just laugh and rub his ears he is original. Plan is to take him into nursing home today to visit my mother she enjoys seeing him.

The golden retriever and Newfoundland are rule followers, the boog needs to follow the rules I think good luck dear.

Sh'e not allowed in the kitchen and takes great joy in stepping half way into it, front paws in the kitchen with back paws in the dining room. Once told "Get out of the kitchen!" she'll leap backwards, lower her head, raise her butt and laugh. Then she'll do it again.

Yes, they are rule followers but they're smart enough to have a great sense of humor, too.

when we were fixing his dinner. He would get his toes right up the edge of the kitchen tile and just quiver with excitement.

Our lab is a rescue who almost died from shock (that what vet called it). He was on death row at the pound, a couple days from being killed. We got him and took him straight to the vet (meds half price for rescues) and then took him home. Girlfriend and my kids all loved all over him and then he just got real sick. Vomiting and crapping everywhere. Called the vet and she said it's normal cause the love overwhelms them. He got better after that.

Now he's like a spoiled child. I'll go outside and he'll have ice in his water bowl. I stay in more trouble than he does.

She was one of DUer MiniMe's foster puppies and is rotten and so loved by everyone.

I think MM posted one of my pics of her counter-surfing. So, ya know, we're like-minded dog people....reading about Boog bring a warm smile 😃.

Why our MiMi finally stopped stealing food? Perhaps it's her treats??

Anyway, when we return from being gone for hours, she'll put her paws on the counter to balance herself by our sides as we're unloading groceries. Easier for her to lick faces and to get her full-body hugs...and probably to sneak a peak at what's new.

She's special people. Family.

And, btw, for those clean freaks who go "oh yuck," I keep disinfectant handy to wipe the counter down.
