Kitten rescued from Massachusetts highway tunnel

Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Massachusetts police and the Animal Rescue League helped rescue a tiny gray kitten spotted wandering a highway tunnel.
State police shared photos and videos of the wayward kitten that was repeatedly spotted in the Ted Williams Tunnel.
"Today, this little guy (previously reported to be a gal) decided to play a little hide and seek in the Route 90 Connector Tunnel in Boston," police said Sunday. "Multiple calls were received about her walking around in the tunnel."
Sergeant Bob Dateo shut down traffic in the area down to allow the league's Associate Director of Law Enforcement Darleen Wood to scoop up the kitten.
