poor old barbie is about worn out keeping with doc. she is dealing with corneal ulcers that have got to hurt. one is nearly healed, but one is having a hard time.

he is having a fine time, and everyone is getting along great. doc is so happy to have a brother. they are just silly together.
group pics after i have recovered from our trip a little. we took a few days on the outer banks and did a little sightseeing on the way to get him. we drove my subaru, which has 100k miles on it, and it was a little stressful. 2000 miles, much of it mountains. we are all tired.
but happy.

3. gracious, he's huge already!

Nothing at all like the little hamster dude only a scant number of weeks ago! They grow so incredibly fast.

What a cutie puppy wuppy he is! All those lovely wrinkles to squish around, too!

I'm glad that Biff and Doc are getting on so well and that you had a safe and leisurely trip.

4. i love how his wrinkles match his mom's.

when he sits, there is a big ole wrinkle that nearly covers his hips.
doc looks so huge next to him. he was a puppy when i left, but somehow when i got back he was a big dog.
the best part is that now that the terriers know what a puppy is, they are pretty unfazed.

9. he is something called

a victorian bulldogge, sorta like an olde english bulldogge, which are pretty much what they sound like. people have been trying to undo the problems with the usual purebred english. they are sort of all bully mutts. his big brother is more like a boxer, which is one of the breeds that was mixed into these dogs. he seems very english so far. like those wrinkles.
the focus is really on temperament and health. time will tell on health, but their temperament is, like, from heaven. could not be sweeter. his mom is a super doll. and very eager to please and fit in.
just a big ole hunk of joy.

8. He looks so big in arms, and so little

next to his mom. Someone had a little puppy English Bulldog at the office the other day, and I just couldn't get enough of him. They are so sweet. Hope he likes his new home----he looks happy.
