I found him in a grocery store parking lot as a tiny kitten, so it took him awhile to trust me. He's not quite a lap cat yet, but he likes to lie right next to me. It's only been three years...

I'm not sure how Felix would react - he loves my dog, but he's not exactly friendly to other cats...
