i'm helping mira cross the rainbow bridge in a few hours

i want to thank everyone for their advice and support in my thread the other night. as always, the du family was there for me when i needed it most.

we spent a few hours of family time in the yard yesterday so that she could enjoy the sun and grass and i kept her by my side all last night.



i'm having her cremated and will leave some of her with fat cat when i visit home in a few weeks, something neither of them will be terribly pleased about but is how it should be.

you were my shadow for so long, little one, and i will miss you so very much. thank you, my sweet girl, for loving me when i didn't even like myself.
