A major cause of hemolytic (Heinz body) anemia.

NO leeks, onions, garlic, chives. That includes caution letting them lick out the remainders of food you cook for yourselves or growing in your garden.

Don't forget the human medications either. No tylenol (especially cats but extreme caution in dogs as well), no ibuprofen, naproxen (Aleve) or other similar class drugs.
