Related: About this forumMorgan doesn't seem to have an appetite, this morning
She ate just fine, last night, and was playing with Madoc. I'm going to try not to panic, and watch her, today. Maybe that flea bath stressed her out more than I realized. I'll give her extra cuddles, today. I'm taking her to the vet, tomorrow, anyway.
Madoc is doing just fine.

(8,188 posts)You're doing so great with the kittens but I'm just asking in case the kitten was exposed to an unsafe dose. Likely not--I'm not trying to panic you--but if it was exposed to a potentially toxic level of anything, a phone call to the vet would be a good idea. If it is something toxic, they could advise you whether you should come in today and if they can rule that out, then you could relax.
I'm hoping that Morgan is eating again by the time you read this.

(26,177 posts)And, Madoc has been exposed to the same things she has and he's just fine.
She played with Madoc, a little, and is grooming. She did this, once before, but did eventually eat. I'll keep an eye on her and can easily rearrange my schedule and take them in, today. If I get there before they open I can get in quicker and it's less stressful for them.

(8,188 posts)And thanks for all the photos. You've brought a lot of joy to DU these past few months.

(26,177 posts)She's up, grooming, purring, just kind of quiet. I know she's been pooping and peeing because I looked in the litter box and it was more than 1 kittens worth of 'deposits'.
I'll go back up when I finish my banana pancakes and see how she's doing. Maybe bring her back down and just keep a lid on the food.
On a bright note, Sophie ate pretty good, this morning. AND she let me sleep! I kind of panicked when I woke up at about 2, and it wasn't because she was nudging me. But she was just fine, sleeping on the seat of the lawn tractor, in the garage. That's her new, preferred place to chill. She's getting pretty weird in her old age.

(112,435 posts)a "blah" day. Here is hoping that is all that it is. Sending good thoughts for all.
I thought they were due for their next vaccinations this week, but it's next week. None the less, if she's still like this tomorrow, we're heading to the vet. I'll take both - mainly so Morgan has a companion and will feel less stressed.
If she wasn't grooming, purring, and occasionally playing, I'd be more worried than I already am.

(26,177 posts)She's back out and in my lap, snuggling, which she didn't want to do, earlier.

(26,177 posts)In fact, she's out like a light, right now. I just have to keep her brother from bothering her.

(9,232 posts)My boys do. Theyre both fine (and Charlie could use to skip a meal or two) its just cats nature. Id worry if it went on another day.
She did a little romping and was jumping at a dangling string toy. And she's been soft-purring up a storm, when I give her scritches. Now both are asleep. Admittedly, it is one of those kinds of days - foggy, gloomy, cool and cloudy. A day ideal for sleeping.

(12,452 posts)His dinner last night or his breakfast this morning. Not going to panic yet. I am watching him. I hope he eats soon.
Sometimes he stands in front of his bowl and I can see him decide to not eat.
He has however eaten his treats with gusto.
No puking or anything.
I wonder if he's doing a hunger strike to get more treats? He's a very intellegent cat.
And he looooves his treats.
He's been cuddling and we played today too. Right now he's konked out on my bed.

(26,177 posts)I'm pacing giving her food because I don't want her to end up gaaking up what she's been eating.
If she still isn't eating by tomorrow morning, I'm definitely going to be in the vet's parking lot, before they open.
