Related: About this forumMorgan and Madoc are home from their visit to the veterinarian
They were SO well behaved.
Today was rabies shot, deworm medicine and flea medication. They go back in a month for another flea treatment. AND they now have their appointment to be spayed/neutered. December 10.
The vet was well pleased with their growth and health. He said not to worry about Morgan's appetite. Kittens sometimes do this, but if it carries on, bring her back in. And Madoc now weighs more than Morgan! Not by much, and he doesn't look bigger but I think that's because Morgan is so fluffy.
So, I feel relief. And all 3 cats have now been treated for fleas, so that should make things more comfortable for everyone.

(26,259 posts)I'll be thrilled to get the fleas under control. I'm not noticing anything like an infestation but I'm going to continue to treat the rugs and furniture as if there is one. My steamer is getting a good work out.
And I'm glad that they can take both kittens in at the same time for the surgery. I think Sophie and Boudicca had theirs on separate days.
I just sent an update to their siblings mom.

(26,259 posts)I guess I should know that, since my vaccination appointment was on Monday.
At noon I'll have to tear myself away from them because I have to mow the lawn. Which means Sophie Stinky Toes will have to, temporarily, surrender her new favorite perch - the lawn tractor seat.
