This has been an up/down day

Morgan did eat. Well graze. Then she was back to her old VERY active and mischievous self. Then I noticed her in the litter box, trying to expel something but leaving nothing behind. I checked HER behind and sure enough - another poop plug AND a poop dangle.

So, I turned on some warm water, grabbed the baby wipes, wrapped her in a towel and got to work. She HATES this process and absolutely howls. Once I get ahold of it, the poop pops out like a cork. I clean her up and then spend a whole lot of time cuddling her.

Little Miss Morgan is getting a 'trim', when I get someone experienced to help me.

As usual, I'm exhausted. I've been up with the kittens since 4 am and I haven't eaten since 7. Sophie decided to spend the day in the den, with us, which is great, but I also don't dare leave the room for long. I think I'll eat, take a pill and hit the hay. Tomorrow I'm heading out to look at and decide if I want to buy a new combo vacuum/steam cleaner. I've got a 15% off entire purchase coupon so maybe I'll see about a cat tree, too.

There was a time when I used those coupons for something frivolous, for me. Now I use them for these snuggle bugs.

2. Apparently trimming should help

If not, then I'll be heading back to the vet.

Honestly, I don't mind taking care of it. It's the way it seems to traumatize her. Although I bet she feels relieved when I'm done.

Poor kitty & poor you.

I had my kitty's rear shaved well over a year ago. Still growing back. 👍

priorities correct!

Check with your vet, but a bit of olive oil in their food just might help.

Hope you can sleep well.

So not much sleep, at all. I finally convinced her she can sleep next to me and I dozed off for maybe 45 minutes. She did eat really well, this morning, so she feels rested.

Morgan had a kind of loose stool in the litter box. I know it was her because I checked her bottom. Might be the result of the vaccinations but I'll keep an eye on her, today. The vet is open until 5, and until noon, tomorrow. She's alert, grooming giving me some kitty kisses and wanting to cuddle. I'll make scrambled eggs, this morning, and see if she'll eat some. She like them the other day.

Madoc is his usual Master of Mischief self.

Scrambled egg are good, my guy loves them, especially with cheese and bacon. He LOVES bacon.

Sending healing, calming vibes for you and your furry little band.

I'm going to try and see if she will eat more, or maybe some baby food or tuna when I get back from the shops.

She seems very tired of me checking her butt. Too bad.

I should see if they like bacon. I know my brother's cat, Dude, LOVES bacon. He used to steal it off of my mom's plate and my mom would LAUGH. The funny thing about that is, she never liked cats until she came down with Alzheimer's. Especially cats anywhere near an eating or cooking area. Admittedly, she thought Dude was a dog because he's a huge Ginger cat, but she also loved my Sophie and she knew Sophie was a cat. She though Sophie was a very expensive cat because her fur is so soft. Sophie would sit by mom and take all the pets and scritches available.
